Unas 600 personas van a feria de empleo de PAWA Santo domingo. Pawa Dominicana informó que recibió alrededor de 600 solicitudes para las posiciones vacantes de tripulantes de cabina en la feria de empleos que realizó este domingo, lo que dice superó sus expectativas. Según informó la aerolínea en una nota de prensa, la feria fue realizada con miras a la inclusión de nuevas rutas en las operaciones de Pawa, que próximamente estará volando a Miami, Nueva York, Puerto Rico y La Habana. En esta sesión de reclutamiento se realizó una primera entrevista a los solicitantes, para luego hacer una selección de candidatos más aptos, quienes serán capacitados y certificados, y posteriormente incorporados a la aerolínea, en la medida en que se vayan abriendo nuevas rutas. Pawa informó que en los próximos meses estará realizando otras ferias de empleos para las áreas administrativas, de ventas y reservas, oficinas comerciales y personal de aeropuerto. La feria se realizó en las oficinas de la empresa en su edificio corporativo ubicado en la avenida Gustavo Mejía Ricart esquina Abraham Lincoln. Actualmente, Pawa Dominicana posee un total de 116 empleados, incluyendo tripulantes de mando y de cabina y personal técnico especializado en el área aeronáutica. Pawa taps USM to start flights on Aug. 14 Santo Domingo.- Dominican-based airline Pawa Dominicana spent US$30 million tp the launch operations in the country starting August 14  with 24 weekly flights to the Dutch islands of Aruba, Curacao and St. Maarten in the first stage. In the press conference held at JW Marriott hotel, Pawa corporate affairs director Alexander Barrios said the carrier plans other flights to San Juan, Havana, Miami and New York within eight months.
