Every ordered map will be compiled in accordance with your device i.e. all Garmin, and other GPS units devices, Each map is individually protected and will be identified in case of illegal unlocking and publishing.

  For the proper functioning on your device the map should be unlocked on your specific widget. The unique ID number of device is required for this operation.

Unit ID is an unique number of your device.
It could be found either in the "about" section of your device's menu, either using a software like Garmin� MapSource.
Important! With red solid line marked thous areas wich u need to be pressed by finger or by stilus pointer.
	1. Select Tools button on a main screen of device. It looks like shown on a picture.
	2. Then select Settings button to activate the settings menu of your nuvi device.
	3. It shows the system menu of your device, in wich u must press About button as shown here.
	4. You ve seen th Unit id number. Just copy and send it yo use. We recommends your to store this number for personal fust finding.

  Enter the system menu of your all Garmin, and other GPS units devices, device by pressing corresponding keys – they differ from widget to widget. In the menu choose section “System information", the 10 digit ID number of the device will appear. Write it down and sent it to us. You may insert it into Order form or if you choose other than a credit card way of payment – bank transfer, electronic money or PayPal, etc, - just send it via e-mail to alef0071@gmail.com

First, you have to download the map installation package using a link you
have received right after the purchase. There are two different type of packages:
one for direct installation, and one for MapSource.

1. Installing the maps dirtectly from your PC.
First, download the package from the Direct Link.
Then, connect your Garmin� Device to your PC and run the installer. Double-click on icon map_dominicana_direct.exe
A welcome screen would appear.
Press "Next" to review the license agreement. If you are agree with its terms, press "Agree" to continue the installation.
The installer now would ask for the serial number.

Copy the received from us serial into the box and press "Next".
It's very important to enter it correctly, or the mapset won't work.
Installer would now search for your navigator. If your navigator was not connected properly, an error message

will appear and the install process would stop.
Then, if there is already a map in your device, an installer would prompt for backup.
If the installed map is large, and there is no free space on your navigator, the installer would backup the map to your local hard drive.
It may take up to an hour, depending on the map size.

2. Installing the maps using Garmin� MapSource.
First, download the package from the Direct Link.
Then, connect your Garmin� Device to your PC and run the installer. Double-click on icon map_dominicana_direct.exe
Press "Next" to review the license agreement.

If you are agree with its terms, press "Agree" to continue the installation.

Install it in this folder, or choose different folder.

Install it, then run MapSource.
A window would appear, asking for an unlock code.

Press "Unlock Maps", then click on the "Unlock Regions" tab.
Press "Add" button, and then enter the unlock code and comment in the following dialog:
Use MapSource dialogs to view maps, or to install Dominican Republic GPS map to your Garmin device.

Different method, if you are special user:

  In return we will provide you with a file gmapsupp2.img with a map that suits your device.
  Connect your widget to the PC using the USB cable. Switch the device on. The PC will detect it as a widget – most likely as a mass storage device if you don have special drivers.
  Open folder of your widget. You will wind several subfolders, including all Garmin, and other GPS units devices,
  Make sure that you already don’t have a previously installed file "gmapsupp2.img" in the folder of your device all Garmin, and other GPS units devices, If there is such a file – move it to any folder on your PC. Remember that folder.
  Copy the file gmapsupp2.img that you got from us into the folder of your all Garmin, and other GPS units devices, device.
  Normally the file on your device has a name gmapsupp.img. In this case there is no need to move it, just load our file into the folder of your Garmin, etc device.
It will do for perfect operation.

  To look at the map from your all Garmin, and other GPS units devices, device on your PC you will need MapSource™ software and an USB cable for connection. The MapSource™ can also be used for obtaining of the ID number of your device. Normally all this is supplied together with your Garmin device.

1. Connect your Garmin, etc widget to the PC using the USB cable.
2. Start the MapSource application. Click on "Service” tab on the top panel. The second line on the dropout menu will be “Get a device ID number”.
3. The application will ask and display an ID number.
4. Send it via e-mail to alef0071@gmail.com
5. The MapSource application will look for the maps already loaded to your widget and you may look on them on your PC.

  You lost the boot disk provided with your device you can download archived application MapSource by clicking this link: http://www.dominicana.cc/softs/proggi_softer.zip After extraction you will have two folders:

1. folder [ms200] with main setup file. Double clicking on setup.exe file launches the installation of MapSource on your computer.
2. folder [ms403upd] – an update of MapSource application file. Double clicking on this file launches the updating of MapSource application.

  The MapSource application is designed for getting of an ID number of your device, maps preview and uploading on the widgets and has many other useful functions.
  In case when you send an ID number of your device to us you will not need a MapSource application. For loading of a map file gmapsupp2.img on your widget you will only need an USB cable. The latest updates of MapSource application please visit an official site of Garmin etc.
